Storithm Editorial · Developmental Editor & Ghostwriter
I take manuscripts from rough draft to verified publication-readiness — developmental editing, continuity auditing, ghostwritten chapters where needed, and final production files. My structured fix-pack process means you always know exactly what changed, why, and what's left.

Process
A marked-up manuscript is a pile of opinions. This is a system — numbered, prioritized, and verified — so you always know what changed, why, and what's left.
Every developmental edit is delivered as structured, numbered fix-packs rather than margin notes. Each pack states the problem, the reasoning, the exact chapters it touches, and the fix — including new material written to your voice when a note that says "expand here" wouldn't be enough.
Packs are grouped by priority and tracked across versions, so a revision round is a checklist, not a guessing game. You know exactly what you're paying for and exactly what's been done.
Every assessment and every edit ends with a prioritized roadmap, so the biggest problems get solved first:
After you revise, I read the manuscript again against the fix-pack list and the continuity calendar, and confirm that every fix actually landed — and that no new seam opened where a chapter was moved or written. Nothing is marked done because it was suggested; it's marked done because it was checked.
Tier 2 includes one verification pass. Tier 3 includes at least two. Almost no freelance editor offers this step, and it's the reason projects finish rather than circle.
For complex plots and series, I build a full continuity calendar — every date, journey, deadline, and character fact locked against the text — and maintain it as the book evolves. It's what makes the verification passes objective instead of impressionistic.
The engagement closes with a publication-readiness assessment: a stated percentage, a list of remaining risks, and — at Tier 3 — clean, formatted production files you can upload without homework.
A complete demonstration assessment of John Buchan's The Thirty-Nine Steps (public domain), evaluated as if it were a debut thriller submitted today. Same depth, structure, and candor as a client assessment — readiness score, load-bearing problems, and the P0/P1/P2 roadmap.
About
I write books, so I edit like a writer. Under Storithm Editorial I work as a developmental editor and ghostwriter for prolific authors and small presses — thrillers, mysteries, series fiction, literary fiction, sci-fi, and select nonfiction — taking manuscripts from rough draft to verified publication readiness.
I also write. With co-author Ken Konet I've published fiction across techno-thriller, psychological thriller, political drama, and middle-grade fantasy. That dual life is the point: when your book needs a bridge chapter or a rewritten opening, you get an editor who can draft it to your voice rather than leave a note in the margin.
My background spans software development and fiction, which is where the method comes from — structured fix-packs, continuity calendars, and verification passes are an engineer's habits applied to storytelling.
